Full House @ NZX

It's Octo's bday earlier and cos I wasn't feeling well we did not manage to celebrate at a pre picked Korean restaurant at Cheras. So while waiting for the new celebrating day to arrived I so happen to see a review on Full House @ NZX. I posted the link to both Fish & Octo and as usual were very excited and more than willing to change the venue to Full House. The front view of the shop

The place is quite comfy 2 floor cafe. They categorise themself as lifestyle cafe with a range of home deco items, food and a percentage of clothes & complimentary accessories. Their menu is quite cute where they introduce the family members which consists of the usual daddy, mummy, son, daughter and pet dog. They offer sandwiches, western foods, local delights and a wide range of drinks. Set meals are also provided and the price is fairly reasonable. The place has a garden lawn replica perfect for afternoon tea. So we decided to have our lunch in the "Garden". It's got grass lookalike carpet and artificial bushes to fence up their premise complete with garden seats and umbrella and also artificial doves. P/S: Please do not misunderstand. I was patting the doves not tring to get them off the bushes. L-R: Octo & Me L-R : Fish & Octo I went for the Full House Sandwich while Fish went for the Dory fish set and Octo choose the Carbonara set. We also added an extra bowl of French Fries cos we saw the neighbouring table having it and the smell seems tempting and for desserts, our usual favourites the Tiramisu. French Fries Tiramisu Food filled table. Table was too small to fit everything. Posing with my sandwich...So HUGE How?? How do i eat this sandwich??? Mirror Reflection (Laughing our heads off trying to snap this picture) Showering together..*Shy*Shy* ARGH~~Peeping Tom~~SHOO~~Go away!! Overall the food is not bad but the service is quite bad and it's quite warm there probably cos it's in the afternoon. The whole bill came to a total of below RM67.00.

went to 1 Utama for dinner tonight..s usual tried something new...went to Pick n' Brew..I went there b4 for food tasting wit my boss n colleague..tis time I went wit Vince..the environment is cosy actually...soft music...neutral colours..quite...it's got a big window where u can see LDP highway...also have a smoking room...the view is nice...can't wait to sit in the waiting room when it's raining...i'm sure it would b nice..hahaokie..lets go to the food part..hahaha..for drinks Vince ordered the Iced Fruit Tea & I ordered the Hazelnut Latte

there was this ornament on the table..no i can't call it ornament or maybe test tube thingy..watever le..haha..they fill it wit olive oil & vinegar..it's actually used to serve some form of appetizer where they gv bread baked wit some herbs and u dip the bread into the mixture of olive oil & vinegar...they din serve us tat..dunno y...but the 1st time i went they served us tat...
We ordered a Mushroom soup & smoked salmon on brioche for starters...the mushroom soup is quite bland so we added some pepper to it...but the smoked salmon on brioche taste good...

The smoked salmon on brioche taste good. It's served with egg, some sort of vege, smoken salmon, cherry tomatoes & the brioche...For main course, I ordered the Penne Carbonara while Vince ordered the Braised Lamb ShankBraised Lamb Shank @ RM38.00 (Served with Mashed Potato, 3 strands of Asparagus & 4 Biji Brussel Sprouts)

The lamb shank doesn't taste very good s compared to the shank at Las Carrestas...the meat texture is very harsh and dry...

We din manage to finish the food...the Penne Carbonara was too salty...probably too much salt and the bacons are salty at the first place...

we din finish our food....drinks i finished mine but Vince dun like his drink so he only had half a cup..the coffee is quite nice actually...heheheh...so i gulped every drop of it..hahahaha

The total bill came to RM112.20....not as good s expected..perhaps cos i ordered the wrong things....but there's this salmon dish i tried during my first visit which tasted good...tats all for now...till i hv budget for more food..hahaha
